Upcoming Outings

Sunday February 4: Henley Square's Rock N Roll afternoon, with music by the Adelaide group "Get Back". Meet at 2pm in Henley Square. If you don't want to photograph the rock n roll, there is always the beach... There should be plenty of photographic opportunities around the area. As per usual the outing will be followed by coffee/drinks at a cafe.

Saturday 10th March: Goolwa for the Wooden Boat Festival, see their website for the program. Meeting time and place to be advised closer to the date.

Outdoor Evening Photography - Tuesday January 30

The club will not be meeting at the club rooms on Tuesday January 30. Instead we will be meeting at 8 pm at Glenelg, in Moseley Square, near the tram stop. The evening will be an opportunity to practice some sunset, twilight, and night photography. If you have your night photography guide, bring that along to get some idea of what aperture and shutter speeds to use. See you there.

Photographic Inspiration

Here's a couple of blogs that are completely different to each other, but each offer photographic inspiration:

Looking for theme ideas?

I've come across the Weekly Shot blog, which is good for ideas and inspiration on what to photograph. They have a weekly theme, which for this week is "Trees", and last week was "Look Up". Joining the group is by invitation only, but there is a link to a sister site called Vazaar, which will eventually be open to everyone. So if you are looking for a challenge to help you improve your photography, check out both sites for ideas.
